Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe
Today I want to share a delicious Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe that is perfect for holiday gifting. It’s so easy to make and stores really well for a yummy and thoughtful homemade gift. It’s also super easy which makes it great for when you may have left things a bit last minute! Obviously, you can always just make it as a gift for yourself and quite frankly tastes good all year long, so what are you waiting for?
Ingredients:
(makes about 20 cubes)
379g tin of condensed milk
150ml double cream
450g caster sugar
115g unsalted butter
2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
1 tsp sea salt, for sprinkling
Method:
Line a 20 x 20cm baking tin with parchment paper
Place all of the ingredients (except the salt) in a saucepan
Bring to the boil and then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes, stirring continuously
Once the temperature reaches 115°C remove the pan from the heat
Beat for 3-4 minutes/until thick
While it’s still warm and fluid, pour into the lined baking tin
Sprinkle with salt and leave to cool
Once set, cut into squares
I hope you enjoy making this! I find it looks really nice if you stack up all the fudge in a pretty tin and just tie a bit of twine around it. You can often find a great variety of mis-matched tins at TK Maxx or Homesense that can easily transform this into the perfect thoughtful gift.
