Instagram Grid Wall Art Posters
You all know that to me interiors isn’t just about having a lovely house, but also making it a really special home. Yes, that sounds super cheeseball but it’s true! I find nowadays with most of our photos being taken on our phones that they just don’t get put up in the house as much, which is such a shame because there’s nothing better than catching a glimpse of a great memory as you go about your day! Adam and I went on the most amazing holiday to Japan last year and ever since I’ve been non-stop going on about how we need the photos up in the house somewhere - we took a lot!
I decided enough was enough and went looking about the quickest and easiest way I could achieve this, soon stumbling upon Inkifi. I’d used them before for some individual photo prints, but didn’t realise they did posters too! I think what’s so great about it for me is being able to take the photos directly from Instagram… this was particularly great for these photos as I’d edited them all in the same style when I posted them up during and after the holiday so I knew they’d all look great together! This really helps create a consistent look and feel across the posters and being able to take them from Instagram saved me sooo much time.
Next it’s just as easy as selecting all the photos you want to include and you can even just autofill the poster in so Inkifi will mix them all up and lay them out for you! You can then tweak and edit as you like before you send off to print. When they arrived I just popped the posters in some cheap frames and hung on the wall!
Before receiving them I’d bee a little concerned about the quality as they were being taken straight from Instagram but honestly the quality of them all is great and I’m just so so happy with them - hence this blog post! I just think it’s a really lovely and easy way to add wall art to your home that doesn’t just look great but reminds you of something special. You could do this with so many things as well - days out, family photos, weddings, through the ages… the list is endless!
I know this is not exactly a DIY but I just really wanted to share as I feel so passionately about not just keeping photos gathering metaphorical dust on a hard drive somewhere and this really does provide a quick and easy solution for this! Photos are taken to be looked back on and displaying a bunch of your faves in the hallway is the perfect way to achieve this!
Hopefully this might have inspired you to get some of your own photos up on the walls! Let me know if you love to display your photos too in the comments.
